[All Worlds: Original, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero] The Janitor NPC’s Magical Mop

[Recruitment season has been keeping me busy lately. I'll resume updating once things settle down, orz]

Hua Huo, an NPC with an unremarkable character model, traveled all the way from the Xianzhou to Penacony, expecting to make a name for herself. Instead, she became a lowly cleaner for an interstellar repair chain, spending her days mopping floors and dreaming of a career change.

By sheer coincidence, she ran into the Astral Express crew, whose character models were gorgeous and whose combat abilities were off the charts. She even got to try out their unreliable "immersive Kamera," but her consciousness couldn't make it back!

When she opened her eyes again, she was in Mondstadt, with only her old mop beside her and a Hilichurl brandishing a wooden club in front of her.

"The world is doomed! You can leave after you save it~"

The Aeon Aha cheerfully handed her a cheat skill: [Puppet Tricks]

All she had to do was lift her mop and shout "Bang!" to make monsters obey.

Hua Huo: ??? I'm just a cleaner!

So, at the Knights of Favonius trainee recruitment, while everyone else swung swords, she swung her mop. While they fought, she controlled monsters and yelled, "Bang!"

As she traveled across nations with the Astral Express crew in search of keepsakes, the mop in her hands somehow started to look more and more like a divine weapon, and her own character model kept improving.

But the face in the mirror gradually grew unfamiliar, like it belonged to someone else...

After leaving Teyvat, they accidentally fell into a Hollow.

Just before disaster struck, she finally gripped the mop handle that had been with her through two lifetimes and turned to smile at her companions:

"Thank you. I finally know who I am."

[Recorded in the Magic Book]

Mondstadt keepsake clue: [Hidden in the wind, lost in the crowd] (Found)

Suspicious location: Knights of Favonius on patrol say that ghosts often frighten people outside Mondstadt, and there is an Abyssal presence deep in the woods. (But don't be afraid. The wind will guide everyone who's lost back home.)

Suspicious person: A handsome blond, blue-eyed man stood out at the trainee recruitment and was promoted to squad leader.

Liyue keepsake clue: [Stealing Dreams for a Lifetime] (Found)

Suspicious location: Locals all know that, every night at midnight, puppets take the stage at Liyue Harbor to perform, trading a beautiful dream for a wish. (Could the Dream Island, known as Liyue's unsolved mystery, be connected?)

Suspicious person: Whenever someone gets lost deep in Wuwang Hill, a little paper figure glowing green appears to ward off evil and misfortune. (Some people say they encountered a will-o'-the-wisp, too.)

Inazuma keepsake clue: [Tears of the Youkai] (Found)

Suspicious location: Lady Guuji Yae has warned that a living hillside has appeared within Mt. Yougou, and urged the public to stay away. (It seems people may be pulled into a school with rules straight out of a ghost story.)

Suspicious person: An unlucky passerby who was dragged into the school claims to have seen The Shogun cutting onions in the kitchen.

Sumeru keepsake clue: [Infinity] (Found)

Suspicious location: According to a certain scribe, the House of Daena recently acquired an ancient text about the legend of "the Vanished Mobius Town." The ruins lie in the Apam Woods. (Editor's note: If a single fire can make an entire town vanish, that goes to show how important it is to prevent forest fires.)

Suspicious person: The ancient text also records that, before the fire, a blue-haired traveler discovered a large quantity of explosives and urged the townspeople to move them. So was this a murder plot?

Fontaine keepsake clue: [■■ dividing line] (Found)

Suspicious location: The annual film festival is about to open! Lady Furina has given the film Your Whole Life a glowing review, and the premiere is sold out! (Wait, why is the projector stuck? Why have all the actors changed?!)

Suspicious person: The background audio in the film seems different from before. During the day, there's a faint female voice singing (and she sounds pretty good). At night, there's a faint male voice praying.

Natlan keepsake clue: [Homecoming] (Found)

Suspicious location: The Pyro Archon says that the Night Kingdom is in turmoil. At the same time, a fog leading to another land of the dead has appeared at the border between Natlan and Sumeru. Where do the dead truly belong? Can they... still go home?

Suspicious person: After experiencing "death," the companions were rescued by two Stellaron Hunters, and reunited with old friends. But where are they now, the Night Kingdom or another land of the dead?

Nod-Krai keepsake clue: [I See You] (Exploring)

Suspicious location: The sky has recently been shrouded in mist, and the moon's shadow has vanished completely. An astronomer lowered his telescope and revealed a horrifying truth: he'd seen countless versions of Nod-Krai.

Suspicious person: A Traveler desperate to find their sister came here, only to discover eleven unfamiliar faces... Amphoreus? Is there even a place like that in Teyvat?

Snezhnaya & the Hollows [Final Chapter]: Coming soon

[Reader's Guide]

1. Genshin Impact fanwork with no romantic pairing, ensemble cast and plot-driven (emphasis on ensemble cast!), humorous style, mostly silly and absurd comedy, happy ending.

2. The heroine is insecure and weak early on, then becomes a mop-wielding warrior in the middle and later parts. Her character model evolves with her mindset, making her look more and more like someone from her past.

3. The story begins after Penacony and before Amphoreus (Sunday hasn't boarded the train yet). The Genshin Impact timeline falls after Nod-Krai and before Snezhnaya~

4. The Zenless Zone Zero storyline comes at the very end and isn't a major part of the story. Most of the plot takes place in the Genshin Impact world.

5. An old friend from Honkai: Star Rail appears in every arc (like opening a blind box). The story also includes many original characters, with a few Genshin Impact characters making appearances.

The six permanent members of the main cast are Hua Huo, Stelle, March 7th, Dan Heng, Huohuo, and Gepard.

My other story, Seven Reunions with an AI, is also being updated at the same time~

Theme: Hold on to your dreams and keep moving forward
