[A serious infinite-flow mystery with a blend of elements, featuring a growth-oriented, lone-wolf female lead. The author is terrible at writing blurbs, so I recommend going straight to the story.]
Ji Cheng was sure she hadn't woken up yet.
First, a slime had inexplicably made itself at home in her slippers. Then her reflection in the mirror lagged behind her. Her roommate's morning news insisted today was February 30th, and a spam call she'd received was announcing a live count of the victims in a bizarre mass-disappearance case.
Ji Cheng, frantically racing to meet her deadlines, tearfully gave up on the option of going back to sleep. She kicked the slime wriggling toward her off the bed, and suddenly everything went dark.
When she opened her eyes again, her warm dorm room had become a cold high school classroom. There was no time to mourn her paper that was about to miss its deadline. Before her was a System notification she absolutely did not want to see: [Survive for seven days and escape the school]
Bodies hung outside the windows, and the students in the classroom were mutating. The System panel was completely empty. Her teammates screamed and scattered, while a ghost's claws were already at the tip of her nose.
Ji Cheng: "...Is this what I get for not going back to sleep?"
That's way too steep a price!

Ji Cheng was inexplicably chosen by the System and tossed into an instance as a cannon-fodder player. From that moment on, things started getting weird.
Question: You're a powerless newbie entering an instance for the first time. Veteran players exclude and trick you, and the instance boss deliberately feeds you false information to mislead you. How do you protect yourself?
Answer: First, pretend to be thoroughly fooled. Pathetically follow their plan, then jump out and mock them mercilessly when they're feeling most confident! Lecture them from the moral high ground!
Question: What do you do to stay alive when the boss is too strong to fight and you can't run away?
Answer: Mock them as hard as you can! If you can't beat them, you can at least make them so mad they drop dead!
After clearing one instance after another, just getting through them honestly wasn't enough for Ji Cheng anymore. If she was going to be targeted for no reason no matter what, she might as well do whatever made her happy.
What, you think that's not very humane?
You're hilarious. What makes you think she's a good person?

Romance summary: A love-at-first-sight, tsundere-chases-a-dense-brick journey. The male lead is the only one experiencing romantic turmoil.
Reading Guide:
Horror + comedy + twists, 1v1, happy ending.
1. A growth-oriented, lone-wolf female lead. She's a bit timid at first, but later becomes a master of ideas who can handle anyone who refuses to listen.
2. A cheeky, sarcastic female lead x an unconventional, tsundere male ghost.
The male lead has his own plot and romance arc, but generally doesn't participate in solving the instance mysteries. He's the supportive partner.
3. Plot-driven. The early instances are mostly traditional infinite-flow setups that help the female lead grow. The main plot takes off in the middle and later stages, with a more imaginative style.
4. This story is entirely fictional. All settings are imaginary and unrelated to the real world.
