Low-socialization, adorably clueless artificial Guide gong x fake-model student, genuinely ruthless big-shot top Sentinel shou
To extract [Universal Guide Pheromones], an illegal little research lab in the Fringe Zone selected and trained an artificial Guide, JL0143. He escaped and gave himself a name: Jiang Yu.
After the huge mental-energy toll of his escape, Jiang Yu's vision went black, and he fainted.
When he woke up, he discovered that a Sentinel had taken him in?
Having had no contact with the outside world since childhood, Jiang Yu was curious about everything. Most of all, he wanted to see the place the researchers often mentioned: the White Tower.
So he followed the Sentinel who had taken him in, Gu Xingzhi, to the White Tower, where he got his wish and enrolled as a new Guide.
On the first day of school, the Sentinels at the White Tower were astonished to find that their usually irritable, restless spirit entities were now incredibly docile, crowding around a new Guide and practically lying at his feet, panting for pets…
Later, Jiang Yu's Guide pheromones accidentally leaked, and the Sentinels finally understood.
No one could resist the power of [Universal Guide Pheromones]! How could there be pheromones so compatible with everyone? They were basically a walking tranquilizer.
The Sentinels noticed that Jiang Yu was interested in all kinds of tasty treats and pretty things, so they piled them in front of him from every direction, all in the hope of getting him to team up with them!
But why did Jiang Yu's team-up status say he was already teamed up? And when they looked again, his teammate was... Gu Xingzhi, the strongest top Sentinel in the White Tower's history.
Gu Xingzhi's response: I took him in, so of course he's mine. And is there anything you lot can buy that I can't?
The Sentinels: ...We'll leave you to it.
The White Tower gained a beloved Guide. Guides and Sentinels alike adored him, and everyone called him Little Fish.
Even the strictest combat instructor became warm and kind whenever Jiang Yu was around.
Meanwhile, Jiang Yu, who had only just arrived at the White Tower, tilted his head. So this is what the White Tower is like?
1. The gong is innocent and adorably clueless, but a powerful fighter. He's the type to keep candy in his mouth while casually whipping out mental tentacles and killing an enemy with a single strike.
2. The shou is the strongest top Sentinel of all time and a guiding type of lover. On the surface, he's the White Tower's model top Sentinel, outwardly gentle but truly cold. But he has a very different set of rules for the gong.
3. The story follows the gong as he explores the outside world and experiences student life at the White Tower.
