Cats Love Fish

A soft and timid cat who fears water x an adorable, flirtatious little octopus

Xu Miaomiao is a cat. Her family runs an aquarium for a living.

One day, she went to the seafood market to buy some seafood and immediately fell for a pink, chubby Siberian octopus on sale.

"Five hundred yuan! You can't lose at that price..."

She wiped the tears from the corner of her mouth and ordered scallions, ginger, and garlic overnight. Her mind played a continuous reel of pepper-salt octopus, sizzling grilled squid, and takoyaki...

In the middle of the night, she woke to a sticky sensation.

A damp young woman was lying on top of her, her long, seaweed-like hair dripping water. Half asleep, Xu Miaomiao hugged her "dream dish" and bit down on her neck with a loud chomp

Cool and slippery, with a fishy smell that sent her senses reeling.

Then eight soft but deadly tentacles quietly wrapped around her limbs and neck, bundling her up like a cat-shaped rice dumpling. The tentacle around her neck slowly tightened. The girl chuckled in her ear, her breath damp and dangerous:

"I hear... you want to eat me?"

It's common knowledge that cats love fish. Xu Miaomiao had never gone a day without wanting to eat the little fish.

But what could she do?

All she dared do was wait until the little fish was asleep, then gently suckle at her like she was savoring the most precious dessert.

From her slender fingertips to her vulnerable neck...

One late night, she was doing what she usually did, "stealing a taste" of that tentacle, when a pair of glistening eyes suddenly opened in the darkness. The cold tentacles instantly turned the tables and locked her tight in their embrace.

The girl leaned close to her burning ear. Her voice was husky with sleep, but edged with the danger of someone who already knew everything.

"Miaomiao."

"Stealing a taste... comes at a price."

"Just sucking there... how could that be enough?"

A fish eating a cat? That's completely backward, but what could Xu Miaomiao do? The other girl had eight arms!

"..."

Later, regulars at the aquarium often saw the owner with suspicious red marks on her neck, yawning nonstop.

The beautiful, pale-skinned employee would quietly hand her a hot drink, her fingertips brushing the marks as a satisfied smile lingered in her eyes.

A customer asked curiously, "Didn't sleep well, Boss?"

Xu Miaomiao glared at the fish and gritted her teeth. "Mm. At night... there's always this clingy octopus that insists on... feeding... me... until... I'm... full."
