A beautiful, haughty, picky straight guy on the bottom x a male ghost on top with top-tier cooking skills
Yan Zhi is ZZ, a well-known singing blogger on YouTube, on his main account, and a dark-cuisine blogger who blows up his kitchen on his alt.
After going to the UK to study, Yan Zhi discovers that the British must have the strangest tastes. Everything is unbearably awful, whether it's from the cafeteria or a restaurant. So he confidently starts cooking meals as an international student.
After blowing up his kitchen several times and serving one dark dish after another, he gives up.
After work, Axel opens YouTube as usual. ZZ still hasn't posted anything or gone live. Axel suffers from terrible insomnia and can only fall asleep while listening to ZZ sing.
The blogger has mysteriously disappeared lately, and even the old videos are no longer helping.
Everyone in the comments is asking for an update, too. Axel decides to put on some random video and go to sleep, when he suddenly sees a comment: You think the blogger stopped posting, but maybe he's about to starve himself to death.
Axel follows the comment trail to ZZ's alt account. ZZ's rambling posts there are cute, too, and soothing enough to help him sleep.
But the alt account stops posting videos as well. There's nothing but photos of dark cuisine, captioned: If I don't get a decent meal soon, I'm going to die in Britain.
Axel promptly signs up for cooking classes, learns to cook Chinese food, takes a photo, and messages ZZ: Let me cook for you.
Yan Zhi is moved to tears after eating the food. He immediately wants to hire Axel as his personal cook, whatever the price.
When Axel meets Yan Zhi, he realizes that the real person is even cuter than the videos. He takes the opportunity to say, "I need a roommate. Move in with me, and I'll feed you."
They start living together, and Yan Zhi thinks there's something off about his roommate. His roommate seems to be gay.
But for the sake of good food, he puts up with it.
His roommate wants to be his boyfriend, and he...
Doesn't exactly mind.
A friend complains, "You're really going to give yourself away just for a bite to eat?"
Yan Zhi replies, "What else can I do? British food is awful. Worst case, we can break up when I go back to China."
When Axel finds out, he says, "I've already won your stomach. How could I fail to win you over? Don't even think about breaking up."
Theme: Live well.
