When He Wanxing heard that her best friend had been admitted to the hospital, she stood up a suitor for dinner and rushed over. She found her friend lying in bed with her leg in a cast, looking guilty, and a handsome male patient in the next bed, Tian Tian, smiling at her.
Qiong Shu, the patient, loved eating and having fun above all else. He Wanxing was an excellent cook, and after tasting one of her meals, Qiong Shu paid her a "huge" amount for food in exchange for a permanent meal ticket.
Qiong Shu was handsome and kind-tempered. He introduced her to new friends, and they went out to eat and hike together. When she felt helpless, he gave her a hug. In a foreign city, he let He Wanxing, whose social circle was almost nonexistent, experience a different kind of warmth.
The only downside was that Qiong Shu, who was everywhere in her life and work, suddenly went abroad for medical treatment. Across more than thirteen thousand kilometers of ocean, they missed each other.
Qiong Shu told her, "You should get out and see more of the world."
Her hopes beneath the evergreen tree, her wishes made before the sun rose.
