When the Qingming Tribulation descended and the barrier between immortals and demons shattered, Xie Lingxi, the aloof and otherworldly immortal of Kunlun Ruins, crossed paths amid the raging flames of war with Ye Wanxing, the defiant Demon Lord of the Demon Realm.
An accident bound them together with a life-and-death blood pact. From then on, they shared each other's pain and joy and could sense one another's thoughts. The immortal sects condemned him as a traitor to the righteous path, while the demons accused him of inviting a wolf into their home. Bearing the hostility and misunderstanding of both worlds, they went from clashing to fighting side by side, their feelings blooming amid flashing blades and their promises made through blood and fire.
Ancient resentments surged, treacherous schemers caused trouble, and the alliance between immortals and demons teetered on the brink of collapse. At the bottom of the Qingming Abyss, the source of the tribulation concealed a secret that could determine the fate of both worlds. Xie Lingxi abandoned his immortal status to protect one person; Ye Wanxing defied the Demon Realm to protect the one in his heart. Using their own heart's blood as a guide and the sacred Kunlun lotus as their matchmaker, they joined forces beneath a sky filled with stars to overcome the tribulation, vowing to turn the universe upside down.
So what if immortals and demons follow different paths? As long as they stand together, even if the three realms fall, they can still hold the stars in their grasp and keep the world at peace year after year.
