But only she knew that behind her respectable life lay endless exploitation at work and endless pressure from her family to get married.
She'd always thought she'd eventually just go with the flow, until she picked up a pretty "younger brother" on a street more than sixteen thousand kilometers from home.
He was exhausted and a little dirty, but after she took care of him, she found that he was sweet, pretty, and exceptionally smart. She began to feel a little fond of him, and wanted him for herself.
She knew he had also developed a vague affection for her.
They began to flirt with each other.
She thought their flirtation would continue until one of them finally made the first move.

That's when Yu Shu learned that Lin Zaiye was a male celebrity, twenty-eight years old, two years older than her. He wasn't a younger brother at all.
In the adult world, romance was the least important need. The moment she learned who he really was, Yu Shu cut things off with him.
After all, a male celebrity dating someone meant ruining his career, and the price was too high. She couldn't bear the consequences.
Lin Zaiye's diary:
"Yu Shu didn't recognize me. If she wants a sweet younger brother, I can play one for the rest of my life."
"Yu Shu rejected me again, but that's okay. I can wait. Tomorrow I'll take her to a temple to get rid of her bad romantic luck."

Probably a short story, around a hundred thousand words. A story about seeking freedom within the rules.
Don't base the characters on any real people.
I only promise that the romance between the leads will be sweet. It's a little realistic, and set in a semi-fictional world.
