Retired detective Ge Fei lost his job and was picked up by a TV station, where he became a gofer on a variety show.

His job was to stop the top-tier star known as the King of Flirts from flirting with every man in sight and keep the livestream within acceptable bounds.

The good news: He did a great job. As he broke up the flirt's pairings left and right, even the mosquitoes flying at him were female.

The bad news: He forgot he was a man too. With the King of Flirts left with no one to flirt with, everyone turned their attention to him!

Ge Fei decided to make a run for it, but when he turned around, he saw an NPC he'd questioned just yesterday wielding a huge blade and hacking people apart.

As he hacked away, a woman's voice narrated: Congratulations, you've unlocked an S-rank monster.

The variety show spirals out of control, and the guests are dragged into a real-life battle royale.

Only later does Ge Fei find out this is an infinite-flow game, the kind where your life is on the line.

Ge Fei rolls up his sleeves, ready to fight, but the monster he faces seems a little different from everyone else's. Its attack is to lick him with its tongue, and before it attacks, it growls, "Baby, don't hurt the baby in our tummy~"

Even worse, Long Daoyu, the top-tier star and King of Flirts whose pairings Ge Fei broke up before, seems to have caught on too!

Every time a monster confesses to him, Long Daoyu manages to show up right on cue and expose him to the camera: "Someone's flirting with men!"

Somehow, Ge Fei ends up becoming the King of Flirts instead.

Who could understand...? I was only getting revenge...

To save his job, Ge Fei decides to talk to him. "Bro, what are you playing at?"
