Return to Paradise

After receiving the final Ordeal Call, Fujimaru Ritsuka and Charlemagne arrive together at the Divine Comedy Singularity, where they must bring the Rulers to account.

They originally thought this would just be one last hurdle to get through: clear it, move on, and head toward the final battle in Antarctica.

Little did they know that so many memories would be revisited, so many lingering obsessions would be cleansed, and... a wish connecting love and faith would come true.

Carrying the precious Roadmap accumulated through the Singularity, they face the unknown joys and sorrows of the white land ahead.

Fate marvels at this one-of-a-kind pilgrimage and quietly changes course.

This is a Holy Grail, a tragedy, that only he and his paladin king can destroy. It is a happy ending that only Charlemagne's code of chivalry can write.

A few notes:

· A Fate/Grand Order fanfic. Pairing: Charlemagne x Fujimaru Ritsuka (male).

· Mainly told from Fujimaru Ritsuka's perspective. A rewritten story that changes the original Ordeal Call IV (as well as the Grand Saber coronation battle) and partly reverses the ending of the final chapter. Charlemagne from Chaldea is the lead throughout. This is not an ensemble story.

· A better reading experience awaits if you understand Charlemagne's relevant lore and story, especially the Valentine's Day and White Day choices for Charlemagne.

· This is the pure version. Chapters with fewer words are normal.

Message: This is the story of how the paladin king and his Master brazenly defiled a certain "beautiful" ending.
