[Genshin Impact] A Teyvat Civil Servant's Case Files

The prophetess of the witches once said,

"Teyvat is a continent that should have been destroyed long ago."

Yet she gently touched her scrying bowl and scattered prophecies of hope across the world.

Beneath the false sky screen, she offered the people three questions that transcended the Heavenly Principles:

[In this vast world, what can gather the swirling currents?]

[In the boundless sea of sand, where can a sprout take root?]

[In this barren wasteland, what can bear the morning dew?]

But when the Hydro Archon Furina pointed to the witch's final piece of advice, her expression was rather strange.

[Make the Chief Justice of Fontaine fall in love within a year! You absolutely must!]

Watching the Chief Justice work overtime late into the night, Furina felt a profound sense of helplessness.

Was getting this man to fall in love going to be the hardest part of saving Teyvat?

-

Of course, Furina's worries were unnecessary.

A year ago, Neuvillette had carefully practiced using formal speech to greet him.

"Hello, Mr. Wriothesley."

A year later, half of Neuvillette had transformed into a dragon, his long tail taking up nearly the entire Duke's bed.

"Wriothesley, do you still like me... like this?"

The Duke set down his teacup, gently tucked the tail hanging over the edge of the bed beneath the covers, and answered in a calm, restrained voice.

"Neuvillette, don't tempt me. You know I'm absolutely crazy about you."

Reader's Guide:

1. Set in the world of Genshin Impact, but the plot has little to do with the original story~

2. The main pairing is Neuvillette/Wriothesley. Other pairings are Freminet/Lyney and Cyno/Tighnari, while all others are platonic unless stated otherwise. I'll let you know if any new pairings are added~

3. A story born from a sudden burst of inspiration. The main plot follows Wriothesley, Neuvillette, and their teammates as they solve cases and pursue criminals around the world. Characters will appear as the story progresses. The main cast is listed in the character section~

4. A long ensemble story, sweet from start to finish, with no angst (the kind where even the dead are brought back to life)~

Theme: Don't break the law
