To GD nim:

Love is never a star that burns forever.

It's the tide, the migration of birds. We may travel a long, long way along our own routes, yet in some harbor, we can always recognize the outline of each other's masts.

Lately, I've begun to understand that perhaps we part and find each other again and again, not to prove how resilient love is, but to remind ourselves: no matter how many times I've remade myself, the girl who first saw you at the airport is still alive in some fold of my soul.

And time and again, you find her.

Perhaps love isn't loving one person forever. Perhaps it's falling in love with the same person over and over.
