Liu Yinning was reborn in Tokyo in 1990. She enjoyed only three good years before her parents fled overnight, saddled with enormous debts after the bubble burst, leaving one son and one daughter to fend for themselves.
Her brother, Huangsheng, was forced to support the family at just fifteen. After his clever little sister's words brought him to his senses, he set out to become a voice actor.
Yinning looked at her brother, then at the classic old anime, TV dramas, music shows, and variety programs on television, and made up her mind once more: she would become a child star! She would earn money to support the family!
She would ride the wave during the most glorious years of Japanese entertainment!
I wanted to write the kind of light novel I enjoy, about being reincarnated in Tokyo.
This is an Anko story, where all plot developments and character settings are determined by dice rolls.
The dice gave the heroine a great success when determining her desire to become a child star, so it is certain that she will pursue a career in entertainment for at least the next few years. Her career path further down the line hasn't been decided yet; we'll see what the dice say.
The dice also gave the heroine an older brother, so the male lead is her brother. You can think of them as dual protagonists, though the brother may not get as much screen time as the heroine.
As for the heroine's romantic storyline, that depends on how things develop. If signs of a romance appear, I'll update the story's tags as needed. Whether the male lead changes will also depend on how much of a role the heroine's love interest plays in the story and how important he is.
The dice might have the heroine marry young, turn her into a notorious woman in Japanese entertainment who dates a hundred people (probably impossible, right? If that came out, she'd definitely lose her job), or even turn the story into a yuri romance (I have no experience with that, so I'm not sure I can write it well).
For now, I expect the main plot to feature plenty of the heroine's career and romantic storylines, some of her brother's career and romantic storylines, and the sibling bond between them.
But the exact proportions will depend on the dice and the author's inspiration.
Also, the heroine may become an actor, singer, idol, model, or voice actor, or pursue several fields at once.
◇ The author isn't very familiar with the gossip surrounding Japanese celebrities outside their work. Everything here is based on research.
◇ The story may include some content related to the European and American, Korean, or Chinese entertainment industries, since it's all part of the same business, but Japan should remain the main setting.
◇ Updates will be irregular. This is something to switch to when I'm stuck on my main story.
---Glossary---
[Anko] According to the encyclopedia, this refers to a method of writing in which the author lists several possible directions for the story in advance, then rolls dice to randomly choose one and write accordingly. The term derives from Japanese anka games: anka refers to an author randomly selecting from possible story options submitted by the audience, while Anko means the creator provides all the possible options and uses dice to decide the direction of the story.
Theme: Let's leave everything to fate.
Looks good, looks good, looks good!!!
Looks good! It's written in big letters and looks great, come on!!
Hahahahaha, because I am interested in Japanese entertainment, but there are too few Japanese entertainment articles on JJ (QD does have them, but they are mostly male videos), so I occasionally search for the tag of Japan, Korea, and Thailand, and I found it in the latest update.
I'm still [Spreading Flowers], but I'm not very familiar with it. I'm watching it silently.
It's so beautiful, so good-looking, so good-looking!!! There really aren't many articles related to Japanese entertainment.
😆 Come on, I've been collecting it for a long time and it's very interesting to read.
