My Childhood Friend and My Fated One Are the Same Person

Shen Jiayu once asked Lin Jiaojiao a question. He said, “A young man rides a bamboo horse and circles the bed, playing with green plums. We grew up together, too. Do you think we might get together when we’re older?”

Lin Jiaojiao’s answer at the time was, “No way. We know each other too well. I still like the unexpected arrival. My Prince Charming should appear from afar on a white horse. He should have an air of mystery about him. That’s what would catch my interest.”

After that, Shen Jiayu disappeared for five whole years.
