[A goofy, arrogant, devoted cat of a top × a gentle, cool-headed, genius artifact-restoration cutie of a bottom]
They live together first, then fall in love.
A leisurely daily-life story about restoring cultural relics. Light, sweet, and healing. Happy ending.
Lu Huaishu is a busy curator who's also a bit of a scatterbrain. He's taken on a major exhibition project, but after repeatedly failing to meet the artifact restorer Ye Xingyun, he heads in person to a restoration center in a remote wilderness. By a twist of fate, the suave, wealthy, incredibly handsome Lu Huaishu turns into a big, bumbling orange cat!
What is he supposed to do?
Starving, Lu Huaishu is picked up by Ye Xingyun, who's passing by. Resigned to his fate, he has no choice but to begin living together with him...
To his surprise, as they weather the ups and downs of restoring cultural relics together, Lu Huaishu discovers that Ye Xingyun is even gentler, more considerate, and more well-mannered than he'd imagined. He could even be called a feast for the eyes.
As he spends his days with Ye Xingyun, Lu Huaishu falls for him. He wants no one but him, year after year, day after day.
When he can no longer restrain himself and kisses Ye Xingyun, Ye Xingyun's eyes turn red. "You can do anything you want to me..."
Is Ye Xingyun indulging his beloved cat, "A Huai," or does he love the real Lu Huaishu?
Together, they witness thousand-year-old relics awaken and reunite, and see the pain, life and death, separation, and hardship of the world... Lu Huaishu and Ye Xingyun's lives have quietly become intertwined, inseparable, and bound by a fate neither can escape.

"I'm willing to accompany you into desolate mountains and wilderness, and I'm willing to spend years with you in a restoration studio far from the clamor of the world. If you want, I can also travel with you across mountains and rivers, taking the treasured relics you restore to every corner of the world.
Objects may erode and break, and life inevitably brings aging, illness, and death. But civilization has endured through the ages, and love can last forever.
I can explore all things with you among the tiniest grains of sand, and seek eternity in fleeting moments.
If that's what you want, I'll gladly do it."
"I could never love you more than I do tomorrow morning."
I hope this is a gentle book for those who lie awake at night.
