After Entering the Glory Game

Also known as: [The King's Avatar] This Isn't an Esports Game

"Congratulations, player. You've arrived in a parallel world modeled on Glory."

As the cold System voice falls, you're standing in pitch darkness. No teammates, no points, only the ID Gunner Su Mucheng and the loading [Fog Valley] ahead.

"Survive and clear the story," I say, gritting my teeth as I tug lightly at my hem.

"What a disastrous start," I complain.

"It's not that bad." Someone behind me responds in a languid voice. She doesn't turn around, but she knows who it is.

A friend from the real world.

The man's health bar is almost empty, but he still looks as terrible as ever. "You've still got me."

"Why did you come?" I ask. He lightly licks the blood from his lips and slowly replies, "I came to protect you!"

[Reading Guide]

● The original heroine and the original hero, choosing each other, bound by life and death.

● The fanfic's timeline begins after Mr. Su's death in the original.

● Includes an element of infinite-flow fiction. (All the infinite-flow instances are original.)

● I'll do my best to create a new story while respecting the original characters and relationships.

● Plot-focused, with a slow-burn romance.

● The reading guide also lists potential triggers, so please discuss rationally. (Please spare me, I'm begging you.)

● The CP pairing in this work was inspired by the original plot and reflects my personal views and opinions alone.

● Some characters have alternate-universe storylines. I mainly want to fulfill the dream of winning a championship and give the original characters a different ending. Apologies for any out-of-character moments.

Theme: After surviving death time and again, their feelings deepen.
