Muzan Kibutsuji, a wealthy young man confined to his sickbed, spent the first eighteen years of his life suffering from illness.

Until one night, during a prayer he'd long since given up hope of having answered...

At last, God answered him.

From then on, he was immune to all disease and would live as long as the heavens.

Before Muzan could enjoy his good fortune for long, he discovered a grave problem:

The blessings from Yaoshi were too much.

His feeble body couldn't fully process them, and the Abundance within him remained in a precarious balance. If his body tried to draw energy from the outside world, he'd burst like an overinflated balloon and die on the spot.

So even though he'd become a normal, healthy person, he couldn't be exposed to sunlight, which contained radiation energy, or eat, which gave him biological energy...

He couldn't even suffer the slightest injury, or the shed tissue would sprout into a mass of flesh.

To eliminate the side effects of the Blessing of Abundance and truly cure his body, Muzan Kibutsuji had no choice but to turn his attention to the starships descending from beyond the skies, and the unknown entity known as the Interastral Peace Corporation.

[In the year 1192 of the Heian Era, the starships of the Interastral Peace Corporation's Market Development Department descended upon Heian Star in full view of the public. Sixty-three particle laser cannons locked onto the surface, shocking and terrifying the people of the time. The incident came to be known as the "Black Ships Incident."]

[The great lords raised armies to resist, but were defeated. Forced to establish a unified shogunate, they opened a spaceport, signed a treaty, and officially entered the galactic trade system.]

[Goods of every kind from across the cosmos, advanced technologies and systems, and knowledge and ideas far beyond their time... swept over this isolated little planet like a giant wave.]

Amid this tide of history, from which no one could remain untouched, Muzan Kibutsuji set out to build a business on his home planet, full of ambition and armed with management skills learned from the Corporation and a substantial Jade Abacus loan.

Thus began the renowned Infinity Castle Pharmaceutical Group.

On a home planet full of talented people, Muzan Kibutsuji quickly assembled a founding team that had a little of everything:

Douma, the customer service representative who kept smiling even when people cursed him out;

Akaza, a formidable security guard with fearsome strength who was completely henpecked by his wife;

Kokushibo, a former great lord well-versed in political maneuvering, in charge of securing external partnerships;

and Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the younger brother who couldn't bear to let his older brother go out alone and shamelessly tagged along.

Then the small team, with fewer than ten people, burst into the turbulent galactic marketplace and quickly rose to prominence under their boss's brilliant leadership.

Jade of the Strategic Investment Department invested in the group and personally arranged a technology cooperation agreement with the Genius Society;

Mr. Veritas Ratio, an honorary professor at the First Truth University, was invited to serve as a research consultant;

the Xianzhou Alliance sent a congratulatory message on the group's tenth anniversary...

As the company continued to grow and became a famous galactic unicorn, the despicable boss who had made his fortune by exploiting his employees couldn't help wondering: who would have guessed that, at first, all he wanted was a cure for his illness?
