The Moon and Judgment Day

Happy National Day! I'm giving myself a few days off to enjoy myself 😋

[Rebirth + dual worlds + supernatural powers + two equally strong leads + devoted 1v1]

(Feel free to bookmark and save up chapters first. Normally, I'll update according to the rankings if I make them; otherwise, every other day. The tone isn't too serious, and it's not really a traditional drama, so feel free to give it a try.)

Suppose the Sword of Damocles hangs over your heads. What would the two of you choose?

.,.

Mu She, the powerful High Inquisitor, died. Losers are forgotten, and she was left nailed to the scorched earth of another world.

Mu She, an utterly ordinary college student, came back to life. Now that things had come to this, she was going to start enjoying retirement.

Until she ran into Lou Xueqin at a gaming expo.

Silver hair, military uniform, impeccably neat. She was the successor Mu She had personally trained, now a peerless prodigy seated in the position of High Inquisitor.

Mu She: (on guard) Is she here to collect a debt? My corpse can't have gone cold yet, can it?

After Mu She was reborn, a massive full-dive game called Full-Dive Reconstruction launched to great fanfare. The familiar feel of her supernatural powers, the fragments of materials from another world... Mu She keenly sensed that her “death” hadn't been the end.

The sky was falling, and her retirement was on the verge of collapse.

Beneath the moon, Lou Xueqin walked through an empty alley and softly called, “Your Excellency...” The words she left unsaid were full of longing and struggle.

One only wanted a peaceful life, but trouble kept finding her.

The other crossed worlds, burdened with responsibility, all to protect her in secret, or so she thought.

.,.

When Mu She's secret identity was about to be exposed, she pointed at the countless private photos of the “former High Inquisitor” covering the other woman's room and raised an eyebrow. “May I ask what your relationship is with her?”

Lou Xueqin, usually so calm and self-possessed, had tears in her eyes. “She's my light, my sin... a dream I can never reach.”

Mu She: ?

Mu She: Stop! Say something sensible... Is there any chance this retirement can get back on track?! What happened to the peace and quiet? Why is my successor looking at me in a way that's getting less and less innocent?!

.,.

To complete her final plan, Mu She publicly announced her return to the entire supernatural world: “Everyone, did you miss me?”

Every faction lost it. “Damn it! How is this woman still alive?!”

[Younger woman in the supernatural world, older woman in the real world] (referring to age)

[Cool on the outside, idealistic within, Lou Xueqin x Cold on the outside but actually a repressed wisecracker, Mu She]

Reader note: The full-dive game takes up part of the early story, with a little political intrigue later on.

Thesis: Transmigrate through the fog of death and worlds, and join hands with the one you love to pursue your ideals. May the world be at peace!
