[Prince of Tennis] The Stars Take Their Time to Shine

[Some creative liberties taken. Not canon-compliant. OOC warning.]

"Qianqian's Here": Tezuka, it's snowing!

"Qianqian's Here": A sparrow just landed on a branch, but then the snow fell and scared it away.

"Don't Let Your Guard Down": Sparrows don't understand physics.

"Qianqian's Here": That's such a cold joke...

"Don't Let Your Guard Down": It's a statement of fact.

"Qianqian's Here": What do you think snow is like?

"Don't Let Your Guard Down": Like what?

"Qianqian's Here": I think... I think snow is like interstellar dust in the universe, slowly drifting down to Earth.

"Don't Let Your Guard Down": Interstellar dust doesn't reach the ground. It burns up in the atmosphere.

"Qianqian's Here": ...I was speaking metaphorically!

"Don't Let Your Guard Down": I know.

"Don't Let Your Guard Down": I think snow is like time.

"Qianqian's Here": Why?

"Don't Let Your Guard Down": It falls lightly, piles up deep, and leaves nothing behind once it melts. But the marks that need to remain are all left behind.

"Qianqian's Here": Tezuka Kunimitsu, how can you be so good with words?

"Don't Let Your Guard Down": It just came to mind.

"Qianqian's Here": I lose. My interstellar dust was too childish.

"Don't Let Your Guard Down": It wasn't childish. It was romantic.

Theme: May you shine like a star, with a light of your own. You don't need to borrow anyone else's light to illuminate your path. Keep moving toward the light, and one day you'll shine brilliantly.
