Reid always thinks he's going to develop schizophrenia.

"Why?" Andrew asks.

"You know," Reid falls silent for a moment. "My mom, she..."

"Do you have some kind of paranoia?" Andrew asks with a mischievous smile.

Reid puffs out his cheeks, looking a little annoyed.

"Providence has smiled on you, darling. So do I have the pleasure of being the object of your pronoia?"

The fact that I fell in love with you is a secret conspiracy between the world and me.

As for how they met, the two of them insist:

(Reid's first time meeting Andrew)

Dust swirls in the slanting beam of light. He leans against a pillar in a crumbling building.

His coat is pilled, and his shoelaces aren't even tied.

He looks like a disheveled beggar, Reid thinks.

(Andrew's first time meeting Reid)

He's neatly dressed, standing there in a daze.

He looks up, his gaze so clear it seems out of place,

as if he's asking: Did I come to the wrong place?

You didn't, Andrew wants to say.

Every time after that:

"Just tell me what to do," Andrew says bluntly.

"It's complicated. We might run into..." Reid hesitates.

"Whatever you do, I'll cover for you." Andrew is always so bold.

At first, he calls him Dr. Reid.

Then he calls him Spencer.

Two childish idiots meet, then fall in love.
