A male ghost moved into Zhou Shuran's home.

The ghost was her ex-boyfriend, Bai Xuyan, who had once taken her love and abandoned her. The moment his ideal girl returned to the country, Bai Xuyan left Zhou Shuran without looking back to rekindle his old romance.

"So what are you doing here now?" Zhou Shuran asked, glaring at the male ghost as he floated around the room.

The ghost said pitifully, "Shuran, you've changed. Now you yell at me..."

Zhou Shuran was utterly speechless. "After everything you've done, the fact that I haven't hired a Taoist priest to make your soul vanish and keep you from reincarnating is already more than you deserve!"

As they talked, she discovered that Bai Xuyan's memories were stuck in the year they had loved each other most. There was no ideal girl, no faithless man, only a devoted, passionate young couple in a long-distance relationship.

He would buy a hard-seat train ticket and sit bolt upright for twenty hours to see her, then fold the money he had saved into tiny gold bars and lipstick as gifts for her.

She would regularly visit temples to pray for his safety. When she returned, she would sit at her desk, knitting a scarf to give him while video-calling him...

Back then, their love had known no bounds.

For the sake of those beautiful memories, Zhou Shuran reluctantly took in the male ghost, thinking that as soon as she found a way to send him off, she would be rid of him.

But as they spent time together, she gradually discovered that there had been more to what happened back then...
