A short story, complete.
Until I was seventeen, I was Jiang Yushu, the little princess of the Jiang Kingdom. My mother was a Noble Consort, and thanks to her status, I was precious in my father's eyes. I was also his only daughter, and he doted on me immensely. So I lived a carefree, innocent life. Jiang Xuan, meanwhile, was merely the son of a palace maid. Though he was handsome and skilled in both letters and arms, in other people's eyes he was still just a prince whose mother had a lowly status, a shameful waste of his talents.
P.S. First-person narration, feudal-era setting, tragic ending with the protagonist's death. Avoid if these themes bother you.
Written a long time ago.
Theme: Deep love, ill-fated destiny.
The writing is so good, so sour, woo woo, the princess and the sixth brother are really hard to get over in my heart. Why can't lovers stay together forever? I love orthopedics. It is indeed easy for childhood sweethearts to have longing for each other in a deep palace, let alone two children with simple minds.
