The Paulownia's Homeward Voyage

A careful courtship, Painter x Pilot

Lin Yizhao has had a crush on Lu Tingxun for two years.

But they go to the same school and different classes, and Lin Yizhao is a hopeless student at the bottom of the year while Lu Tingxun is a top student in the top three. Lin Yizhao has never found the right chance to meet him, until...

One morning, Lin Yizhao wakes up and finds himself sleeping at the Lu family home.

Then the next day, the third day, the fourth day... Every day after that, Lin Yizhao opens his eyes to find himself sleeping at the Lu house.

Locking the doors and windows, changing rooms, none of it helps. Lu Tingxun ends up sleeping on the floor.

"Classmate, did you put a tracking device on me?"

"...I sleepwalk."

Lu Tingxun wonders: Are sleepwalkers born with the extraordinary ability to climb pipes up to the third floor, pick locks without being taught, and find his bed with perfect accuracy?

A few years later, Lu Tingxun graduates from university. On the first day he takes his beloved car out, an SUV rear-ends him, hitting the license plate so precisely that it gets knocked crooked.

Lu Tingxun gets out and runs into Lin Yizhao, who has just returned from abroad after graduating.

"First you steal my bed, and now you're after my car?"

"I'm really sorry!" Lin Yizhao apologizes. "But... I just got back, and I have nowhere to stay. Could I... borrow your bed again?"
