The moment Ai Cai wakes up, there's a strange voice in his head. Whatever, it's not important. He may have transmigrated, and there seem to be unknown creatures howling outside the window.
System: Life signs detected at your back door, dear. I recommend taking a look.
Ai Cai: Go fishing someone out of a horde of zombies? Do I look stupid to you?
System: The System won't force you to do a mission, dear, but this is a high-value free laborer.
Ai Cai: Damn it, you got me.
The System was right. Gu Min is the ideal employee: no family or support, nimble hands and feet, more action than words, considerate and understanding, and good at taking off clothes... Wait, how did that last one get in there?!
Gu Min hasn't heard anyone else's inner thoughts in a long time.
"Are there any living people left in this world?"
That was the thought that suddenly appeared in his mind as he hovered near death.
"Don't die. I'm begging you."
That was the first inner monologue he heard from the person who pulled him back from the brink.
He left the world that had been overrun by zombies and embarked on a wondrous journey. He traveled through many worlds, listening as that person said one thing and meant another, while saving countless people, including Gu Min himself.
He wanted to save that person, too.
