The unrequited love that began at seventeen was something even twenty-five-year-old You Shi couldn't forget.
She had always liked Yu Zhili. Eight years of repeatedly confirming it had made that clear.
Then, one night when she was twenty-five, You Shi got an answer.
The world was utterly quiet. Beneath a sky full of stars, she finally held Yu Zhili's long-fingered hand. His usually placid gaze, never betraying a hint of emotion, held the faintest trace of a smile as it met her eyes.
You Shi felt his body heat, his heartbeat, and the feelings he shared with her, just as fervent as her own.
The letter she'd once thrown into the trash had finally found its way back into her hands after eight years.
But Yu Zhili said it was more than just a letter.
It was a love letter from someone who'd been secretly in love.
