Zhou Zhu hates Yi An to the bone. To exact his revenge, he takes on the appearance of a junior brother and stays by his side.

The day he reveals himself,

he watches Yi An run away.

Yi An can’t smile.

Yi An’s health steadily deteriorates.

The once-powerful senior brother becomes a sickly man who can’t even lift his sword.

Zhou Zhu thinks he ought to feel satisfied.

But he keeps searching for the finest spirit medicines in the world and feeding them to him. His hand trembles uncontrollably as he holds out the medicine. “Even if you die, you’ll die by my hand!”

Yi An gently brushes the corner of his eye, his smile as tender as ever. “Life and death are in fate’s hands. Don’t cry. Your senior brother is here.”

Yi An’s death is spectacular.

His spiritual meridians shatter, and his body is reduced to ashes, exploding in the sky like fireworks. Not even a corpse remains.

His soul drifts through the air and looks back one last time.

Zhou Zhu clutches the last remaining fragment of his spiritual meridians, refusing to let go, and weeps uncontrollably.
