It hadn't been long since Fang Xin quit his job at the design institute when he met He Ziyun.
In everyone's eyes, He Ziyun was a model student: excellent grades, always striving to do better, and so approachable that he got along with everyone.
Fang Xin, on the other hand, always had a sour look on his face, even though he didn't mean to. His face was handsome, but when he wasn't smiling, he looked cold and grouchy, like he didn't want anyone near him.
In the spirit of keeping things civil between adults, he only told people the good parts.
When asked what he'd done after graduation, Fang Xin only said that he'd gone to work at a design institute. As for whether he still worked there, well, no one had asked. No need to bring it up.
Somehow, he ended up taking on a job.
Only this time, He Ziyun was the client.
Fang Xin did his best to play the part of a designer in front of He Ziyun, even though he now worked at a coffee shop.
That's right... After quitting the design institute, Fang Xin had found himself a job at a coffee shop to coast through life.
So, more exhausting than being worked like a dog in the design industry and revising the same thing over and over until he was sick of it, came something even worse.
Making coffee all day, then going right back to revisions at night until he was sick of them.
Little did he know, it was all a sham.
I was pretending. I didn't know you were pretending too?!
