Playing the Layabout in a Famine Story

Tang Wu transmigrated into a book, landing in a story set in a famine-ravaged ancient world in chaos.

The good news: By the end of the story, the famine hasn't ended, but the chaos will be brought to heel. The male lead will rise to the highest ranks, and the female lead will have businesses everywhere.

The bad news: None of that has anything to do with her, because she's a female supporting character.

Even worse: She's a cannon-fodder female supporting character.

[Ancient apocalypse, with a focus on everyday life. The famine will never end: drought + floods + warfare + exile + extreme cold... A huge, powerful golden finger (which will appear during the flight from famine).]

Theme: Stay positive no matter what the circumstances
