A mad, demanding master x a possessive, loyal puppy of a disciple
One day, Shen Lianshuang transmigrated into a book and became the wicked cannon fodder in an adult novel.
As the villainous cannon fodder, the original character repeatedly tormented Shang Yujin, one of the novel's many male leads. He forcibly took Shang Yujin as his disciple, nitpicked his swordsmanship, and beat or berated him whenever things didn't go his way.
As a tool for pushing forward the romance between Shang Yujin and the protagonist bottom, the original character's job was to torment Shang Yujin mercilessly, giving the sweet and innocent Lin Yunhe a chance to comfort him and eventually bring the two together.
Once he had served his purpose, the original character got what he deserved: Shang Yujin tortured him to death by a thousand cuts.
After transmigrating into the book, Shen Lianshuang read the story content that had automatically appeared in his mind and smiled faintly. He had the advantage of knowing the whole story. The original character's later abuse really had happened, but Shang Yujin's intense hatred from the very beginning made no sense at all.
He had arrived at the exact moment when the original character was punishing Shang Yujin for the first time after taking him as a disciple.
He could spare Shang Yujin, treat him well, figure out why Shang Yujin hated him, clear up the misunderstanding, and win him over, giving himself a chance to survive.
The sound of skin splitting was unpleasant, but Shen Lianshuang's answer was a firm "no." He admitted he wasn't so desperate to live that he would debase himself and grovel to someone, doing everything in his power just to stay alive.
The original character's early life had been one of endless splendor. When his fortunes faded, he became scraps of flesh and a few white bones. Thinking it over, at least someone had been willing to go to all that trouble for him. Shen Lianshuang was quite satisfied with that kind of life and had no intention of changing it.
His ideal was beautiful, but the outcome was completely different from what he had imagined.
After just a few mishaps, Shang Yujin no longer hated him. He even stopped loving the protagonist bottom and instead became utterly devoted to Shen Lianshuang, demanding that he take responsibility.
Wasn't the second male lead supposed to be ruthless and violent? And who was this giant puppy standing in front of him?
