The small town of Tuwa is the birthplace of dragon slayers.

Leisel is an ordinary herbalist in Tuwa, until he finds a badly wounded golden dragon by the roadside and takes him home.

People say you shouldn't pick up men you find on the roadside, but no one said anything about dragons.

When Leisel picked up the dragon, he hadn't thought about what he could do for him. He just didn't want him to die.

But raising a dragon turned out to be much more complicated than he'd expected.

He fed the dragon, whose appetite was five times his own. The dragon could eat half a fridge in one sitting.

He went for a run, and the dragon squinted at him before chasing him and tumbling with him into a field of dandelions.

He thought life would go on like this forever.

Until one day, Leisel woke up curled in the arms of a strange man with black curls and green eyes, who blinked at him with an innocent expression.

He grabbed a pitchfork and pointed it at the man, but the man lunged at him and expertly licked his nose.

And so a naked dragon began wandering around the house, leaving Leisel to chase after him with a pair of pants.

One day, the dragon learned to dress himself. The dragon said his name. The dragon wanted to leave.

Redmond is a half-human golden dragon who, after losing his home and loved ones, fell badly wounded at Leisel's feet.

Leisel saved him.

Leisel is the only person who matters, the most important person in the world. Redmond can't lose him again.

Maybe leaving him is the best choice.

As it turned out, that was a terrible mistake. By a twist of fate, they were both locked in cages.

The moment he saw Leisel again, Redmond was wearing a collar and barely conscious. Under someone else's control, he bit into the back of Leisel's neck.

Blood flooded his mouth. Leisel whimpered and called his name. Redmond licked his neck, gazed at the mark, and had never felt so good.

He had never realized how badly he wanted him.

Later, they escaped their cages, but it was far from over.

It was all Leisel's fault.

Leisel shouldn't have rescued a dragon on a whim. He shouldn't have thrown his leg over Redmond and fallen asleep, trusting that Redmond wouldn't do anything inappropriate.

Leisel shouldn't have forgiven Redmond so easily after they met again.

Leisel shouldn't always pick fights with people who hate dragons.

Redmond rested his fingers on the vulnerable nape of Leisel's neck, gently stroking the same small patch of skin again and again. Tiny goose bumps rose on his skin. Redmond lowered his eyes and knocked him out without a shred of guilt.

He would take Leisel away from Tuwa whether he wanted to go or not. Leisel was all he had. Whatever it took, Redmond would keep him.

Whatever it took.

When they first met, Nie Shi wore a sharp suit. He tapped his fingertips on the table, fixed his eyes on Mi En, and asked if he wanted an easier life.

Mi En had only been lucky enough to interview him, but somehow came away with a contract as well.

Nie Shi was powerful and influential, and liked to make Mi En submit when they were together. Mi En's experience was limited to watching people embrace and kiss on television. Whenever Nie Shi wanted to touch him, all he knew to do was tilt his head and rub his cheek against Nie Shi's palm, hoping he wouldn't get too angry.

Fortunately, Nie Shi didn't seem to think that was a problem.

"Don't worry." The tall man nearly enveloped him as he leaned over, one hand circling the back of his neck. "I'll teach you what to do. You'll do well, very well."

In that dangerous relationship, the man did teach him a lot.

Nie Shi seemed to be the one in complete control, always in charge of every aspect of Mi En's life.

But in truth, he could enjoy that advantage only because Mi En had willingly given it to him.

Control is always relative.

When Nie Shi appeared in the media, he was always impeccably dressed, with a perfectly practiced smile and an effortless manner. But around Mi En, he was always disheveled and breathing unevenly. When Mi En bared his neck for Nie Shi to inspect the mark, Nie Shi's breath would catch. When Mi En couldn't help begging him to stop, Nie Shi would lose his rhythm completely. Mi En was the one who made him that way.

Of course Nie Shi was the one in control of everything, as long as Mi En wasn't by his side.

They broke up before the contract had even expired.

Life returned to normal.

Mi En never expected to run into him again so soon.

He showed up at a bar and asked Mi En again if he wanted an easier life.

Mi En: ?

Nie Shi lost his memory in an accident, but he still remembered how to be a boss. At a business dinner, he met that beta.

The beta had long, thick eyelashes, and when he smiled, a tiny dimple appeared in his cheek. From behind, his neck looked narrow and especially fragile.

Yet, in a way that didn't match his fragile appearance at all, he narrowed his eyes at Nie Shi through the crowd and met his gaze without hesitation.

Even though this was their first meeting, this person belonged to him.

The only problem was, why was Mi En more familiar with the contract than he was, and why could he already do so many things without Nie Shi teaching him?

...Had Mi En signed a contract with someone else before???
