After her mother died young, Sang Zi was doted on by her father as she grew up. But when her father passed away, her stepmother seized the family fortune.
Overnight, Sang Zi went from being a pampered young master to a poor soul who couldn't even afford rent, all while studying abroad in Japan.
With no ability to support himself, he is not only ostracized by the campus heartthrob's clique, but also deceived by a talent scout's promise of high pay. He ends up as an underground idol, singing and dancing onstage every day in revealing women's clothes.
Sang Zi hates pretending to be sweet, hates dressing as a girl, and hates being on display every day, blowing kisses to a bunch of otaku fans.
Of course, most of all, he hates the cold, popular heartthrob Yu Jingchu, the one who led the bullying.

Then one day...
At an in-person live show, Sang Zi spots Yu Jingchu in the corner of the venue.
Sang Zi is wearing a black-and-pink lace Lolita dress, with twin ponytails draped neatly over his shoulders. Fuzzy cat ears bob with his movements, and thigh-high stockings show off his slender, pale legs.
His heavy East Asian-style makeup makes him unrecognizable even to his own father.
When Sang Zi sees Yu Jingchu staring up at him, he gives a cold laugh to himself.
A plan for revenge forms in his mind...
He'll start an online relationship with Yu Jingchu, then dump him in the cruelest way possible!

Yu Jingchu, English name Chles, is of mixed Chinese and German descent. His strikingly handsome, refined, and aloof face drives countless boys and girls wild.
One day, unable to turn down his friend's repeated requests, he accompanies him to an underground idol live show.
Yu Jingchu vaguely remembers Sang Zi, but they aren't close.
All he knows is that Sang Zi is pretty and not very smart.
So he's neither surprised nor curious that Sang Zi has become an underground idol.
The whole performance is incredibly boring. He stares absentmindedly at the stage, paying no attention at all to Sang Zi's stiff dancing.
But to his surprise, once the show is over, Sang Zi comes trotting after him in high heels, giving him a sweet smile. “Want to add me on LINE, big brother? I can sing for you~”
Yu Jingchu's gaze darkens. He has no idea what Sang Zi is up to, but, strangely, he doesn't refuse.

Later...
At the backstage of a fan-meet event, a pair of muscular arms pins Sang Zi's delicate arms in place. He is powerless to fight back and can only let the other person do as they please, tears hanging in his beautiful eyes, ready to fall.
After who knows how long, Yu Jingchu recalls how Sang Zi had whispered for mercy beside his ear. His sobbing voice had been so lively.
Feeling the slap mark on his face, which barely hurts and is more like a kitten's playful scratch, Yu Jingchu contentedly wipes the saliva from Sang Zi's mouth. His voice is deep and magnetic. “Mm, it really does sound lovely.”

[Reader's Guide]
1. Set on a Japanese university campus, with a sweet, everyday romance.
2. Neither lead is perfect. The shou has a terrible temper, isn't very smart, and is a little socially anxious, but luckily his pretty face more than makes up for it.
3. The shou starts dressing as a girl out of necessity, but gradually comes to love it.
4. The gong doesn't actually bully the shou. There are misunderstandings. At first, he's a stubbornly performative straight guy; later, he happily takes slaps from his sweetheart.
5. A long, long period of romantic tension.
