[Apocalypse with Superpowers + Shared Space + Mutual Healing + Happy Ending]
1.
When the apocalypse arrived, Ying Jiuzhi found a letter at his front door.
It said to seek the protection of the strongest person of the future.
Only the weak need protection.
He threw the letter away and decided to become that strongest person himself.
After wandering outside for three days, Ying Jiuzhi, with one leg badly injured, was picked up by a passing convoy like some poor stray.
With no powers and just an ordinary person, he was dumped in the noisy back of the vehicle.
No one cared whether he lived or died. Only the college guy beside him was kind enough to break off half a neatly snapped sausage and give it to him.
An accident bound them to the same space, which they now shared.
But the college guy was scratched by a zombie while saving him.
He was close to death.
So when the convoy kicked the transformed college guy off the vehicle, Ying Jiuzhi followed without looking back, to repay his kindness.
Under the moonlight, ignored by the zombies, he found the man hiding in the ruins.
The college guy asked, "What are you doing here?"
Ying Jiuzhi brought their last supper. "I'm here to bury you."
2.
Lou Siyue thought he was incredibly unlucky.
He'd only enjoyed one year of college, and hadn't even played enough games, before the apocalypse hit and he had to pack up and flee.
Luckily, he survived and met a cold beauty.
Together, they fought zombies and leveled up, picked up teammates, and stockpiled food.
The deputy captain was kind and good-looking, with a red mole beneath his eye, alluring yet cold. Even the zombies seemed reluctant to go near him.
His way of doing things was just a little too reckless, like he didn't care whether he lived or died.
Lou Siyue had to keep an eye on him.
But the more he watched, the more he felt that he and the deputy captain were a perfect match in every way.
3.
Later, word spread that killing the Zombie King would end the apocalypse.
Lou Siyue, now one of humanity's strongest, spotted Ying Jiuzhi during a mission. Ying had been deliberately sent away, but was now surrounded by those coming to hunt him down. In his eyes, Lou Siyue saw the unmistakable gaze of the Zombie King.
He gripped the knife in his hand.
All he could think of was that red mole he always glimpsed whenever he casually turned his head.
Killing the Zombie King would end the apocalypse.
But so what?
Ying Jiuzhi had never abandoned him.
So the defector carried the Zombie King on his back and walked into the wasteland.

---- Here's a preview of my next book, The Fortune Says My Roommate and I Are Incompatible
1.
Xu Guizhou had been frail since childhood. It wasn't until he was eighteen that he learned his family had arranged a marriage for him long ago, hoping to keep him alive.
The master said that he and the person he'd been matched with were highly compatible, though their birth charts clashed and they shouldn't meet. The reading showed that the other person would bring him good fortune.
So while Xu was unconscious, the Xu family dressed him in a princess gown and pretended he was a girl, tricking the young master from City A into signing a marriage contract.
Xu Guizhou didn't accept the marriage.
He'd been dressed as a girl when he signed it. What did that have to do with him, a man?
Even when he went to study in City A, he had no intention of contacting the fiance he'd never met.
Unfortunately, on the first day of university orientation, as he was asking his roommates their names, the cool youngest guy in the next bed spun his phone around, studied him for a long moment, then said three words: "Song, Juan, Xi."
Song Juanxi, the fiance written on his marriage contract.
Xu Guizhou: ...
He didn't want to acknowledge him, but his fiance wasn't having it. He abruptly asked, "There isn't another Guizhou in the Xu family from S City, is there?"
Xu Guizhou had no answer, when suddenly a voice sounded in his head. It was his twenty-six-year-old self.
His twenty-six-year-old self said his fiance was domineering and controlling, an absolute madman. After discovering that Xu had tricked him by dressing as a girl, he kept him imprisoned for eight years, trapping him in bed day after day. Xu even had to ask permission to go to the bathroom.
After he finished, his nineteen-year-old fiance politely knocked on the metal bed frame and reached over to gently pinch his cheek. "You awake yet? Eight a.m. class. Hurry up."
Xu Guizhou: ...?
His twenty-six-year-old self said his fiance had strange tastes and made him cry himself half to death every time. He was a pervert.
His fiance, who had just turned twenty, was feeding him ice cream. They were hiding in a corner of the library, and his fiance was fanning him with a little electric fan.
His twenty-six-year-old self said his fiance was temperamental, wouldn't let him see anyone else, and treated him like a plaything. There was no love between them, only lust.
His fiance had been curious and secretly looked up a tutorial. In the middle of the night, he rolled over, grabbed Xu, and declared that they would learn together. "How can I take care of you if I don't learn?"
2.
Song Juanxi was straight, at least until he started university.
Because of the marriage contract, he told everyone he had a beautiful wife and that they would marry once he came of age.
But after all his waiting, the only person who showed up was a man with the same name as his bride.
Though he was certainly good-looking, fair-skinned, beautiful, and long-legged.
But he was a man!
Song Juanxi was about to confront him with a cold expression when he suddenly heard a more mature voice.
It was his twenty-six-year-old self.
He said that twenty-six-year-old Xu Guizhou was dead.
He had no wife anymore.
3.
But then again.
A man couldn't live without a wife. If his wife was a man, so be it. He'd accept it.
"It's nice to meet you, Xu Guizhou. I'm your fiance, the one whose birth chart clashes with yours, but whose marriage match is excellent."
He didn't care whose birth chart might send who packing. Song Juanxi would never let go of the person destined for him.
