"Have you heard? The captain got a cat, and it's a black cat!" A trainee from Team Tiny Herb gossiped excitedly in the cafeteria.

"And he won't even let anyone pet it! Could the captain finally have stopped hiding the fact that he's an inheritor of the mystical arts? Look, even a mystical black cat has shown up, and they're together every single day."

Miss Black Cat, listening from behind the curtains, could only feel a vein throbbing in her forehead. For the first time, she hated that she couldn't openly speak in front of people.

That night, Captain Wang's dorm room was filled with divine flames and magic, as if a blinding light had exploded inside.

Amid the chaos, Black Cat pinned Captain Wang to the bed, planted her paws on his chest, and declared, "Elder of my kind, didn't we agree to rule over humanity together?!"

"...We're not the same kind." Wang Jiexi, shocked to discover he couldn't beat a cat, answered weakly.

"Huh?!"

"I'm a wizard. Didn't your elders tell you?"

"Huh?!?!"
