Wen Yingxue only left home for a while, and then met a handsome young gentleman. He was afflicted with a love poison, and the two ended up sharing a brief night together. (Please note!!! The male lead is Prince Langya. The female lead gets her martial arts from the Against the Current System, and starts out at half health.
The female lead's soul died a normal death from illness. Everything that happened afterward was because she was bound to the System.
A side note:
Some people say Prince Langya is no good, but please think about it from his perspective. None of us could have done as well as he did in that kind of situation. Some people think he did a poor job because we're looking at things from an omniscient perspective and can see everyone's plans. But in his world, he did the best he could within his abilities. That's how I see it, too.
