Being a Taotie's Stepmom Is This Easy

I was sick last month, but I've recovered. The whole novel is being written ahead of time, and I expect to finish the backlog and resume updates within two months. I won't abandon it!!! When the time comes, I'll treat everyone to a big bowl of food!

In this age of technology and all kinds of questionable additives, Ning Zhi's approach of cooking with care clearly isn't going to work.

So, her restaurant goes out of business.

By chance, Ning Zhi marries into a wealthy family and becomes someone's stepmother.

Who knew every member of this family would be more difficult than the last?

A CEO husband with stomach problems, an eldest son with a phobia of germs, a second son who's allergic to everything he eats, a third son who made the news for being picky, a hot-tempered delinquent fourth son, and a youngest boy who eats a ton but is malnourished...

Nobody said being a stepmother would be this hard! (Flips table!)

The whole city is waiting to see her make a fool of herself, but Ning Zhi is amazed to discover...

Huh? Why is everyone fighting over the egg fried rice she casually made at the restaurant?

They even ate the plates along with it!!

What?! You say you're Taotie?

Even Taotie have to mind their table manners, okay?!

The biggest misconception people have about the Taotie clan is that they'll eat anything and aren't picky!

In truth, only food prepared with heartfelt emotion can replenish the spiritual energy within them.

But these days, even five-star hotels use ready-made meal kits. The Taotie have suffered from prepackaged food for far too long!

They lived in a daze for over a hundred years, until one day Sheng Rong, the fourth son of the Sheng family, ate a serving of egg fried rice at a restaurant on the verge of closing.

He tasted pride, loneliness, resentment, and a little bit of hurt.

The Taotie clan was in an uproar.

Later, when Ning Zhi's restaurant reopened, a large crowd of strange customers poured in.

As soon as they entered, they all dropped to their knees before her.
