Looking at the pitiful little creatures before her, Shen Zhixue's cat-loving side burst forth. She immediately declared that she would teach the Demon Sect's leader a proper lesson on their behalf.
And so, Shen Zhixue successfully became a disciple of Pei Shuwang, the Demon Sect's leader.
As the saying goes, to catch bandits, first capture their king. She decided to use the opportunity to get close to the leader, then catch her off guard and finish her off with one swipe!
But after nearly a year of eating and living together, every trick Shen Zhixue tried was easily thwarted by Pei Shuwang. Meanwhile, their lives only kept getting better and better.
Shen Zhixue raged in frustration. "Why is this woman so hard to kill?!"
After one failure after another, she finally came up with a truly brilliant revenge plan: have a child with her, make sure the child took after Shen Zhixue and was upright, kind, and loved dried fish, then raise her to become the greatest champion of the righteous immortal sects, dealing Pei Shuwang a devastating blow.
The plan went perfectly, and then Shen Zhixue ran away while pregnant.
Three years later, rumors spread throughout the martial world that the Cat Cult had transformed into one of its most notorious demonic forces. They were so fearsome that no one dared bully them anymore.
Shen Zhixue nervously nibbled on dried fish and looked at the two little ones beside her, one on either side. She vehemently denied it. "I didn't do this! Blame their mother. Her genes are just too powerful!"
Pei Shuwang pulled her into her arms, stroked her fluffy little head, and gave a satisfied, knowing smile.
