What is a secret crush? For Chen Qixin, it is like a one-person play. The things she once thought were earth-shattering amount to nothing more than stealing a few minutes to look at Chi Yingming's profile while pretending to turn the pages during study hall. The cicadas outside the window buzz so loudly that her heart flutters, and she hardly dares to breathe. Later, when the graduation photos arrive, Chen Qixin traces the lines of his face again and again. In that moment, she understands: Some feelings don't need to be spoken aloud. Like the summer breeze, once it blows past, it's gone. But even now, when she thinks back, she still feels that the sunlight was blazing that day, and so was he.
