As a result, the authorities exiled everyone showing signs of beastly transformation to an abandoned city. They stationed people of special races there to guard it and prevent any beastfolk from leaving.
When Ye Lin was a child, her father was in charge of guarding the city.

The cruel, beautiful black snake coiled tightly around her at night.
More and more beastfolk were won over by her. They coveted her scent and longed for her gentle treatment, and began working to make her wishes come true.
What did Ye Lin wish for?
At first, it was:
"I hope all the citizens stay safe and sound."
Later, she dared to dream bigger.
"I hope this place can become a city where anyone can feel happy."
"For my sake, you can all do it, can't you?"
