The Savior Arrived Three Hundred Years Too Late

"Girl, would you like to become the savior and save the world?"

"No."

"All right, I'll take you to the future now."

"You little...!"

In the year xx AD, spiritual qi revived on Blue Star, transforming all living things. Otherworldly demons forcibly sealed history and launched a massive invasion.

Shen Zhao died suddenly and was forcibly bound by a System as the savior. It sent her to the future to summon historical heroes sealed by the demons and save a world on the brink of destruction.

Unfortunately, a mishap with the System caused Shen Zhao to arrive three hundred years late.

The surviving humans had taken up arms to fight back, and new heroes had emerged from humanity's faith. Together, the two sides had driven most of the demons out of this world. The threat of world-ending destruction had long since passed.

Shen Zhao wept with joy, immediately announced she was quitting, and nearly set off a couple of fireworks to celebrate.

Now she could live out her life as an ordinary person, in peace and quiet!

But life had no intention of letting her off the hook.

She went to work, and demons came scurrying out of the shadows.

She sat down to eat, and a face suddenly grew on the back of the chef's head and smiled at her.

And then some cultists appeared out of nowhere, shouting that they would sacrifice her to an evil god.

Many years later, with the corpse of a demon lord beneath her feet, Shen Zhao sat on a throne, toying with a fragment of an evil god. She sadly told her historical-hero friends:

"Honestly, all I ever wanted was to be an ordinary person."
