As a child, Cen Fengyu's greatest wish was to stay alive and have enough to eat. After that, he wished he could amount to something, to climb out of the muddy pit and stand on solid ground.
He never expected someone to tell him one day that he had always been meant to stand on solid ground, and that the ground was even inlaid with gold and silver. He thought that was already absurd enough, but fate had even more in store for him.
As a teenager, Cen Fengyu rebuilt his worldview and personality. He never expected to do so again as a young adult, seeing the world from another perspective and discovering a side of it that few knew existed.
Cen Fengyu was caught up in it all. He thought he was merely a bystander who had stumbled into another world, never realizing that he himself was the cause of everything.
