The script tells me that I actually live in a girls' love world featuring a universally adored heroine.
This heroine is the Noble Consort about to enter my palace. Before long, she'll flirt with everyone in my harem and fall madly in love with the current Regent, a passionate romance so earth-shaking that everyone will know about it.
In the end, the Regent will offer up the entire dynasty, and the throne will change hands.
As for me, I'll die in anguish as an incompetent emperor.

After learning how my story ends, I was furious. I immediately decided to put this heroine in her place.

When she dared sneak into the Empress's chambers in the middle of the night, I suddenly appeared and openly slept right between them.
When she dared flirt with the beauty I had met in the Western Regions, I released a swarm of hornets to chase them off just as they were getting along famously.
When she dared secretly meet with the Regent, I held a fireworks show at their rendezvous, illuminating their sordid affair for all to see.
I was determined to ruin her leading-lady status.

In the end, the ministers advised me to take more consorts and produce heirs. But I decided to solve the problem at its source: I would take no more consorts and leave only three people in my harem.
The Noble Consort was still unsatisfied. She cornered me against a wall and asked softly, "When are you going to dismiss the other two as well?"
