I can't write anymore for now, so I'm putting up a leave notice. The holidays are too busy, so I can only write on and off. (crying)
After Zhou You dies, the System forcibly recruits him to win over the villainous Immortal Venerable in the cultivation world. But after the mission succeeds, the Immortal Venerable kills his wife to prove his Dao, stabbing him through the chest.
When Zhou You wakes again, he has become the jade pendant his husband, Xie Qingzhou, wears everywhere.
Before Zhou You died, Xie Qingzhou acted like a powerful big shot, impeccable in every way. After Zhou You's death, Xie Qingzhou completely changes his tune, softening up and acting clingy and sweet.
Though they can't touch each other, Zhou You is already content that the System is no longer threatening to make him kill A Qing.
But someone seems to be watching them from the shadows, intent on destroying the peace they've won so hard...
Little scene:
Zhou You: (quietly reading)
Xie Qingzhou: (quietly watching Zhou You)
Suddenly, Zhou You gets up and walks around a little.
Xie Qingzhou: Are you leaving me again? (blinks, ready to start crying)
Content warning: The love interest has split aspects, but there is only one of him. They will merge later.
