The first time Xu Yanshuo saw Song Anfang was at his friend's funeral.
Song Anfang had a name that sounded gentle and peaceful, but it didn't suit his friend's son at all.
He was like a little beast with its claws bared, glaring at everyone who came to pay their respects.
Song Anfang refused to go with anyone else. His small hands, covered in dust and scratches, gripped the hem of Xu Yanshuo's clothes with uncanny precision.
"Dad used to tell me about you. You're the best person."
Xu Yanshuo met Song Anfang's anxious gaze, and still took him home.

Song Anfang is willful and rebellious. Counting on his handsome face and phenomenal grades, he gets Xu Yanshuo into trouble every other day.
Skipping class, young love, fighting... He doesn't miss a single part of the rebellious teenage years.
Xu Yanshuo goes from furious at first to numb, and becomes a familiar face at the school.
Fortunately, Song Anfang reaches adulthood without incident and gets into a top university.
Xu Yanshuo prepares a spacious apartment for him, thinking that now that Song Anfang is grown up, he needs a private space of his own.
But the moment he hands over the keys, Song Anfang's expression changes. His unruly arrogance turns into something clinging and unsettling.
What should have been a delightful gift becomes a cage Xu Yanshuo has built for himself with his own hands.
-
Song Anfang has hated Xu Yanshuo's proper, gentle, yet distant nature more than once.
Xu Yanshuo has given him so much love, so why can't he give him that love for the rest of his life?
Song Anfang has always longed for Xu Yanshuo to come into his room. Then he'd see the walls and ceiling plastered with photos of him, taken in secret.
And the hidden kisses in the dark, captured in blurry pictures.
But Xu Yanshuo gives him the utmost respect and freedom, and has never once entered his room.
Then don't blame Song Anfang for breaking the peace. He wants Xu Yanshuo so badly he's gone mad.
