Upcoming story: Forced to Marry the Man Who Killed My Husband
A slow-witted, straight-laced top x a cold-on-the-outside, warm-on-the-inside bottom
The first time Zuo Ye met Qin Yuzhen, he thought he was an idiot.
An idiot who knew cats didn't like him, yet still went to rescue one. He came away with an arm full of scratches and a huge grin, then carried Zuo Ye home one step at a time, even though they'd only exchanged their first words a few minutes earlier.
They were both five that year.
Now they're both seniors in college, and Zuo Ye still thinks Qin Yuzhen is an idiot.
An idiot who can't tell that Zuo Ye has had a crush on him for five years.
But that's not really his fault.
After all, Qin Yuzhen is straight.
The first time idiot Qin Yuzhen drank alcohol, he got drunk after one glass.
Zuo Ye tidied him up and let him spend the night at his apartment. Before he could even put away the wineglass, Qin Yuzhen pinned him to the sofa.
One hand came down on his head and ruffled Zuo Ye's hair as if petting a cat.
He pinned down the hand Zuo Ye tried to use to resist, then placed a warm kiss on his forehead. Zuo Ye met those hazy, drunken eyes in a panic. Qin Yuzhen smiled, caught his wrist, and kissed it.
“Xiao Ye, be good.”
Qin Yuzhen spent the whole night petting Zuo Ye as if he were his own cat.
The next morning, Zuo Ye emerged with his heart and hair both a mess. He found Qin Yuzhen in an apron, making breakfast in the kitchen and having completely forgotten what happened the night before.
Zuo Ye sighed inwardly.
See? He really is an idiot.
Zuo Ye never imagined that if it happened once, it would happen a second and a third time.
Until one day, Qin Yuzhen's cat was left at Zuo Ye's place.
Qin Yuzhen pinned both of Zuo Ye's wrists with one hand. His callused fingertips slipped under the hem of Zuo Ye's clothes, revealing a small stretch of narrow waist, so pale it dazzled the eye.
Just as he was about to kiss the little cat's belly, a cat meowed nearby. Qin Yuzhen looked up in confusion and saw his little black cat sitting a few steps away, staring at him disdainfully.
Qin Yuzhen slowly turned back and finally realized that the person beneath him was Zuo Ye, his hair a mess.
The young man, his cheeks flushed, covered his face with one hand. His eyes glistened as he glared at Qin Yuzhen, making his heart pound so hard his chest hurt.
“Let go of me... idiot.”

Ling Yu watched Shang Boru die.
He was covered in wounds when his twin brother, Shang Danzhi, shot him in the head.
Before Ling Yu lost consciousness, he saw blood run down his lover's forehead, staining the mole on the tip of his nose red.
He would never forget it.
When he woke again, the person standing by his hospital bed had a face identical to Shang Boru's. But the mole at the corner of his mouth told Ling Yu this wasn't Shang Boru. It was Shang Danzhi.
Ling Yu's hand shot up to kill him, but the man caught it. Shang Danzhi met Ling Yu's eyes, bloodshot with hatred, and smiled.
“Don't rush to kill me.” The man held the small of his injured back. His fingertips slid slowly between Ling Yu's fingers, finally closing gently around his wrist. The warmth made him sick. “I've reached an agreement with your organization. We're partners now.”
“This mission is... to marry me.”
