Terror on the Night Shift

Xi Ke has worked diligently for several years.

One day, a strange voice suddenly rings out in his mind:

[You are the night-shift receptionist at a long-established hotel.]

[Today, you happen to see a wanted poster on the wall. A perverted killer named "Rain Demon" has appeared nearby. His methods are cruel, and he remains at large.]

Xi Ke stares at the wanted poster on the wall, puzzled. Who's talking?

At midnight, the strange voice speaks again:

[Heavy rain is about to fall, and strong winds are whipping outside the hotel. The phone on the desk keeps ringing. It seems someone is playing a midnight prank...]

Xi Ke frowns at the ringing phone in front of him, a strong sense of unease rising in his heart. Has working the night shift made him start imagining things?

While he's still deciding whether to answer, the voice speaks again:

[You have unfortunately caught the Rain Demon's attention. But luckily, after seeing your face, he decides not to kill you. Instead, he plans to beep, ]

Xi Ke: ???

He soon realizes he's not hallucinating.

A masked man is standing by the window, watching him.

...He dodges the Rain Demon all the way, but still falls into his trap. Just as Xi Ke thinks the man is going to dispose of him, the man bends down and runs his fingers suggestively over Xi Ke's cheek.

"You think I'm going to kill you?" the man says, then suddenly pinches Xi Ke's cheek and chuckles. "That was the plan, but... I've changed my mind."

[You are the night-shift security guard at an ancient school.]

[Today, your supervisor tells you that a murderer has escaped nearby and instructs you to be extra careful at night. As darkness falls, you notice something strange happening on the security camera footage...]
