Who Could Have Guessed My Flower Queen Was a Coldhearted Swordsman? (GB)

A captivating courtesan swordswoman who dances to kill x a gentle scholar skilled in the art of tea

Courtesan Shi Le dances with her sword, stunning the capital. Countless nobles long for her, but she is close friends with only one impoverished scholar.

She thinks he is poor, frail, and sickly, so she gives him the finest medicinal herbs to nurse him back to health.

He thinks she is lonely through the long nights, so he teaches her poetry and writing every evening, saving all his tenderness for Shi Le.

Then, one night, Shi Le returns after beheading a horde of demon spirits, only to find the scholar wiping out a nest of fiends with poisoned tea.

Back in the warm pavilion, they look at the blood on each other's hands and suddenly realize they could live their lives another way.

Xie Yanli comes from a family of military generals, but he loves poetry and books, as well as poisoned tea. At home, everyone despises him as a weak, sickly invalid.

Only the famous courtesan of the capital picked him up from the freezing street, gave him the best medicine, and listened to him recite his favorite poems.

Shi Le is naturally alluring and aloof, and has provoked many powerful nobles in the capital.

A scholar once stood up for her and was beaten half to death. Holding back his tears, he still smiled and said, "Don't be afraid, Sister."
