Everyone who knows Ning Qiao says he's clever, brilliant, and capable of handling anything. He's a genius through and through.
But Ning Qiao himself doesn't agree.
After all, from the age of six to twenty-six, he spent twenty whole years failing to figure out how to turn straight guy Lou Ying gay.

In Lou Ying's eyes, Ning Qiao was the kind of perfect kid everyone else's parents wished they had. To avoid being overshadowed by him, Lou Ying went abroad after high school.
Years later, they meet again, and Ning Qiao is hit by a car and taken to the hospital. Remembering their younger days, Lou Ying jokes with Ning Qiao, who's just woken up and seems to have amnesia.
Lou Ying: “Do you remember me? I'm your darling boyfriend.”
Ning Qiao curses him out: “You're really evil.”

At the urging of their elders, the two move in together in the marital home prepared for Lou Ying.
Ning Qiao thinks it must be fate, so he wastes no time and confesses outright. “I dreamed we slept together. I want to date you.”
Lou Ying: “? I don't know which of the Thirty-Six Stratagems that is, but I'm straight.”
Ning Qiao smiles boldly at him and pulls something out of his pocket. “A custom-made Thirty-Seventh Stratagem, just for you: turning a straight man gay.”
Lou Ying is hit with one shock after another. “???”
Watching a thousand movies is no substitute for practice. Ning Qiao simply steps forward and kisses him. “My patience is limited, so hurry up and turn gay.”
