Short story
The villain, who spends holidays and days off surrounded by fluff, turns out to be a hardcore cat lover. His greatest hobby is hopping between cat cafes and winning the cats over.
Everyone in the human world and the demon realm knows not to bother the villain on his days off. But Jiang Wen refuses to take the hint. Armed with nothing but a head full of knowledge and the reckless courage of youth, he dares to challenge the villain, who has only just managed to get some time off.
The result is that he gets taught a lesson. The other man simply tosses a can of cat food at him, leaving him "gloriously wounded" for two whole months.
What he doesn't know is that his thoughtless behavior directly caused him to lose the cousin he respected most.
The villain is baffled, too. He only tossed a can of cat food. How did he end up tossing himself a boyfriend?
Two months later, Jiang Wen has finally recovered. He's supposed to happily begin the military career he's dreamed of, but as soon as he walks out of the hospital, he asks, "Did I sleep too long? How did the world change outside?"
At that moment, the top commander of the National Security Bureau is curled up in the villain's arms. "All right, I've already taken three days off in a row. I really have to go back."
The villain wraps both arms tightly around the waist of the person in his arms and refuses to let go. "Why are people at the National Security Bureau so dedicated to work? They won't even give you time off for your honeymoon?"
The other man grabs the villain's ear. "Who's the one who can't keep those brats under control and keeps making trouble for me every day?"
"Hey, no, wait, wait, wait! My ears are sensitive!"
A villain who only wants to skip work x a catlike commander who works hard
