Black-Hearted Green Tea Girl x Aloof, Untouchable Older Brother
*
Yan Kejing had no parents and was raised by a poor Daoist priest who found her at a rundown temple.
She had two great ambitions in life: to restore the temple and to become an immortal who would eradicate demons.
The righteous sects had suppressed the Demon Lord. She descended the mountain in search of an opportunity and unexpectedly rescued a gravely wounded, handsome young man.
The young man was "eager to repay her kindness."
"I am Fu Chang'an. Since you saved me, it seems I can only repay you by offering myself to you."
Yan Kejing flatly refused.
The handsome man did not forget her kindness. He guarded her along the way, devoted himself to helping her find the Demon Lord's Nascent Soul, and rescued her from danger time and again.
Faced with such an all-out campaign, Yan Kejing's heart stirred for the first time. Then, after a long and difficult journey, she returned to her homeland to find her entire sect slaughtered by demonic cultivators. And Fu Chang'an, who had circled around her, fawning and offering his love like a wagging puppy, had suddenly become the Demon Lord whom everyone wanted dead.
Yan Kejing: "?"
*
Fu Chang'an was caught off guard and suppressed by the righteous sects. His soul escaped into a clone, allowing him to survive.
He never expected to open his eyes and find that his savior was his Daoist partner, who had been dead for over eight hundred years.
His wife had lost her memory? No matter. He could slowly rekindle their relationship.
He was handsome, rich, and strong.
With that in mind, he searched for his Nascent Soul to restore his cultivation while secretly scheming to seduce Yan Kejing.
They had even kissed, and he had secured his place in her life. Then trouble arose at her sect, and all fingers pointed at him as the culprit.
Fu Chang'an: "?"
*
Yan Kejing joins the righteous sects in their campaign against the demons and investigates the mystery of her origins along the way.
But one fellow disciple who keeps sweetly calling her Senior Sister looks more and more familiar.
Wait, why do you have so many secret identities?!
Fu Chang'an said aggrievedly, "You don't like it, Senior Sister? You used to love hearing me call you Senior Sister. Every time I did, your reaction was..."
Pointing her sword at his throat, Yan Kejing blushed and snapped, "Shut up!"

Serious version:
Eight hundred years ago, a conspiracy to attain immortality slowly poisoned the entire cultivation world, and a spirited young man met his death because of it.
Eight hundred years later, a young cultivator descended the mountain and accidentally became entangled in a scheme intimately tied to her fate.
Old acquaintances? New faces? Immortality? Demonic cultivation?
If they want her dead, then she'll live.
With a longsword in hand, Yan Kejing cut through the darkness of the cultivation world.
Her gaze was defiant as she declared, "Heaven may live forever. So will I."

1. Both leads are each other's only partners. Proud, beauty-obsessed, ostensibly proper sweet girl x sinister and calculating in private, cool and aloof in public.
2. Focuses on the leads' romance, growth, and search for the truth.
3. Equal parts plot and romance.
Theme: Love yourself before loving others.
