Lu Nan is a road bollard that has gained sentience. When he refuses to be moved to the entrance of a public restroom, he sprouts legs in the middle of the night and runs away.
He secretly follows a drunk, hoping to make him his contractor so he won't be caught and forced to take up the grim duty of guarding a restroom again.
Of course, there are perks to signing a contract with him.
His contractor will become incredibly strong!!!
*
Ming Jue is a professional actor and also the poor soul who had a stone bollard follow him all night.
But Ming Jue isn't angry when the contract is forced upon him.
After all, he's a famous weakling of an actor.
"What kind of male celebrity gets heatstroke even with an umbrella in the summer sun?"
"He can't even swing a hammer with any strength. Where's his manliness?"
After signing the contract, Ming Jue can swing a large truck with one hand: Hahahahahahaha!
Who's a weakling?! Definitely not him!!
*
Then the two of them suddenly discover that they are actually living in an old-fashioned, melodramatic angst novel.
Lu Nan, whom everyone assumes is the System: Six points.
The original novel's delicate little white flower, substitute canary, and shou protagonist who gets forced into a relationship: Ming Jue: ??? Who are you calling the shou?
Lu Nan: You. (Coldly.)
Looking at Ming Jue, who dies a miserable death in the ending, Lu Nan magnanimously decides to help him.
But nobody said the plot would turn out like this!
Lu Nan holds the novel and falls into deep thought.
The domineering CEO grabs Ming Jue by the chin and says sternly, "Be my lover, and your mother's illness can be treated."
Ming Jue turns his head away.
Crack.
The CEO's thumb bends at a bizarre ninety-degree angle.
CEO: ?
Did you break my hand with your chin?
The villain steals the car jack and sabotages the car, causing a flat tire halfway through the journey.
Everyone is frantic.
Just as they are at a loss, Ming Jue steps forward. "I'll do it!"
Then he lifts the off-road vehicle with one finger.
Everyone: ?
Incredible, a human car jack.
A variety show takes the cast mountain climbing.
The male supporting character gazes at Ming Jue with affection. "If you can't make it up, I can carry you."
Ming Jue has drawn a vendor's task card and is striding along with a shoulder pole loaded with bottled water, looking at him in confusion.
The meaning is obvious: You want to carry this for me?
Male supporting character: ?
You're the weak one, or am I?
Later, Ming Jue invites Lu Nan to a friendship variety show.
"I think this plot is trying to fool me," Lu Nan says seriously. "Not one thing matches."
"I think so too." Ming Jue holds Lu Nan's hand, afraid the guy will walk into a flower bed again because he's not watching where he's going.
Lu Nan opens the novel's comment section. "Hey, Ming Jue, there's also that, um, story about you in here... What does 4P mean?"
Ming Jue grabs Lu Nan's face. "Little stone bollards shouldn't read this sort of thing."
"Oh," Lu Nan replies. "Then what does 'total shou' mean...?"
"Lu! Nan!"
"Oh."
A lighthearted comedy
A theory expert, frequent audience member, snarky, mischievous stone bollard shou x sunny, cheerful, unconventional, openly flirtatious actor gong
1v1, SC, HE
Important notes:
1. The gong only seems like a weakling. He's actually incredibly strong.
2. The shou will turn human later, becoming an adorable silver-haired little stone bollard.
3. The plot the shou follows is only from a novel! None of it ever happened. The Ming Jue in the plot and the gong only share a name!!! (They don't even look alike.)
4. The protagonists and supporting characters are all so absurd that not one of them is normal.
5. Don't portray the gong as the shou!!! Ming Jue is a handsome, 190-centimeter-tall gong!!
Theme: Good friends need to understand each other.
